Amica Mia

Amica Mia was the first LP made by Guido Renzi and it contains therefore his most famous song, Amica Mia. The album also contains other notable songs which were famous in Italy at this time, such as Qui nel buio, Negli occhi miei, Una rosa per Maria and Se. In this album, the only sont that was not written by Guido Renzi is Tu che mi hai preso il cuor, which is the interpretation of a classic song.

Tanto Cara was the second Guido Renzi's album and it contains several songs form the same epoch of Amica Mia, among them we should cite at the first plan Tanto Cara, the song that gave to Guido Renzi an international popularity, fist in the United States and then in Latin America, especially in Brazil. There are as well other notable songs in this album, such as Vola Canzone, Ridi Bambina and Buonanotte Amore, which is popular on YouTube. Some songs like Una Rosa Per Maria and Qui nel Buio are repeated from the first album here, but they are different versions of the original ones, then it maybe worths to listen them. Finally, we should remark the last song Lei, an ambitious work where the final acute is a high B, ranking Guido Renzi among the singers who may claim a tenor's voice. This album was a big success in its time and, according to some, it is even superior to Amica Mia.

With this name, we are joining in a sole album some songs by Guido Renzi, which was not part of some specific album, but which played a meaningful function in his artistic carrier. Among them, we have to cite Storia del Bene and Storia del Male (History of Good and History of Evil), which Guido Renzi expressly wrote for the Ciao Luna (Goodbye Moon), a comedy for children that talks about a far past, where the moon was inhabited by an humanity who auto-destroyed. The third song of this album, Reggina Gol, was the hymns of the soccer's club from the Reggio Calabria Italian city, a song which the President of the club asked Guido Renzi to write during the 80s, especially for the fans.

Therefore the old remixed songs and the new ones make this album listen worthy.
